Imperials to Campaign Against Kumo Crew

Following an Imperial war sub-council meeting, Governor Leon Welch has activated several Benambo squadrons, including a detachment of the Benambo Boys, to serve the Imperial Navy as irregulars in the campaign against the Kumo Crew. This activation comes at a time where increased Benamban pressure on removing cartels from Ga’at, Djenni, and Goller ahead of expansion plans are being undertaken by these task forces.

When asked for comment on the matter, Governor Welch stated,

We’ve successfully made a number of raids on planetary installations and deep space narcotics trains. I think [our] message is loud and clear: ‘Stay here and suffer.’ The internal security services of Ga’at and Djenni should be able to handle stragglers for the next two weeks. I need my boys where the fighting is tough.

The Benambo Boys’ recently expanded squadron will dedicate at least one wing of boys to the Imperial Navy irregular vanguard. Our contact has mentioned that the squadron is flexible and that the Benambo Boys are not concerned with spreading out or moving between Beta-3 Tucani and Benambo space.
